Merry meet! My Craft name is Ben Gruagach, and I run WitchGrotto. I was born on February 9th, 1967.  I've been actively practicing witchcraft (actually an eclectic form of Wicca) since I was in my early teens.  I am a Canadian although now I live in Eden Prairie, Minnesota in the United States with my sweetheart, our two sons, and a rather demanding cat. We moved to the USA from Toronto, Ontario on Hallowe'en 2001. We lived in Glendale, Arizona for a while but have ended up in Minnesota.

Writing is one of my passions. You can see a list of my work here. I've published a couple of books so far and have articles appear regularly in various Pagan magazines.

(By the way, gruagach is pronounced "grew-ghee" - it's a type of fairy that tends to be a bit on the hairy side.  They're sort of like brownies according to some stories.  Ben is a modification of ban, which means "pale."  In other words, I'm a fair-haired fuzzy elf!)
